"Falling Into" is a soft, vertical unraveling - gentle and dissolving.  Layers fall into one another in a slow descent, with edges softened and forms dissolving as they meet.  There is a sense of surrender - not dramatic, but quiet and continuous.  This work speaks to the experience of letting something settle, rather than forcing resolution.
Oil paint, pastel and oil pastel on canvas in a floating framed, 32x42 cms including frame.  This work would make a great diptych with "The Moment Before Release".
